Accessibility Statement for xport.de
The
XPORT Communication GmbH strives to improve its website
xport.de
to make it accessible to people with disabilities. The key regulations governing this are the Act on Strengthening Accessibility (BFSG) and its associated regulation (BFSGV), the harmonized European standard EN 301 549, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Conformity Level AA.
This statement applies to the items listed at www.xport.de , including all subpages and the forms embedded therein.
1. Description of the Service
Our website and related services are designed for companies in the hospitality and tourism industries. Our service portfolio includes the design and development of hotel websites as well as related online marketing services: copywriting, search engine optimization, generative engine optimization, advertising on Google, Bing, and AI systems, organic and paid social media marketing, newsletter marketing, metasearch, web analytics, tracking, and system consulting for hotel software.
No contracts are entered into with consumers through this website, nor are any goods or services sold to consumers. We nevertheless comply with accessibility requirements because we believe it is the right thing to do and because accessible websites are part of our own service commitment.
2. Status of Compliance with the Requirements
This website is to some extent. The non-conformities are listed in full in Section 3.
3. Non-accessible content
The following content and features do not currently meet the requirements, or do not meet them fully. We are working to resolve these issues and will provide the planned timeline for each one.
3.1 Known Issues with a Resolution Plan
- Individual sections of the page appear multiple times in the source codebecause separate layouts are provided for desktop and mobile devices. Screen readers repeat this content multiple times. The contact form also appears twice. – WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.1, 4.1.2 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- The fields in the contact form are not clearly labeled, required fields are not marked, and error messages are not reliably communicated to assistive technologies. – WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 4.1.2 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- The confirmation and error messages for the contact form are available only in English and are not technically marked as status messages. As a result, the submission status is not reliably announced to assistive technologies. – WCAG 3.1.2, 4.1.3 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- Some press and client logos, team photos, and teaser images for projects have no text alternatives or insufficient ones. As a result, some sections consist of nothing but a heading for screen readers. – WCAG 1.1.1 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- The heading hierarchy is not consistent. Some headings contain only numerical values or additions in parentheses, and some teaser cards have a heading without content. – WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- For some animated metrics, the value is missing from the source code, so the information is not displayed for all users. – WCAG 1.3.1, 2.2.2 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- For interactive elements (tabs for the digital guest journey, expandable sections for frequently asked questions),the order in the source code does not correspond to the order that makes sense in terms of content. Full keyboard accessibility and the technical status are currently being reviewed. – WCAG 1.3.2, 2.1.1, 4.1.2 – To be resolved by September 30, 2026
- The comparison table of website systems is not technically formatted as a complete table with row and column references. – WCAG 1.3.1 – To be corrected by September 30, 2026
- Older PDF documents and downloads (such as guides and presentations) are not consistently structured to be accessible; they lack tags, a defined reading order, and alternative text. – WCAG 1.3.1, 1.3.2 – ongoing, existing documents by the end of 2026
- For some older video posts lack complete captions and audio descriptions. – WCAG 1.2.2, 1.2.3, 1.2.5 – ongoing, to be completed by the end of 2026
3.2 Third-Party Content
Some of the integrated third-party components only partially meet the requirements. This applies in particular to:
- Cookiebot Consent Banner
- Schedule an appointment via Calendly (accessible alternatives: phone, email, contact form)
- Embedded Maps
- External Video Players
While we have only limited influence over the functionality of these components, we require providers to provide proof of accessibility and offer equivalent, accessible alternatives for scheduling appointments via phone, email, and contact form.
3.3 Areas Not Yet Fully Reviewed
The following issues are currently under review; we will provide an update on the outcome in the next update to this statement:
- Color contrasts against image-heavy backgrounds
- Full keyboard functionality, including navigation and the mobile menu
- Visibility of the focus indicator
- Jump to main content
- Behavior at 200% zoom and a display width of 320 px
- Taking the system setting for reduced movement into account
4. Preparation of This Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on September 16, 2026, and revised on September 21, 2026.
- Evaluation Method: Self-assessment based on EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA, conducted as a combination of automated tests, random manual checks, and tests using a screen reader and keyboard-only navigation.
- Last reviewed: September 21, 2026.
- Next scheduled review: upon completion of the measures specified in Section 3.1, no later than January 2027.
