So your hotel can make its own decisions again.
We're working to make sure that no one needs you anymore. Except your guests.

Since 2001, we’ve been working exclusively in one industry: the hospitality industry. We build websites where guests can book directly, provide you with independent advice on booking engines and PMS systems, and aren’t afraid to tell you when an idea isn’t worth the money. We didn’t come up with our approach in a single meeting—we wrote it down together as a team.
Why We Get Up Every Morning
Because your room is worth more than an 18% commission
Hotels aren't just interchangeable "bed and breakfast" options. Yet that's often exactly how they're sold: as an entry in a list of search results, compared based on price, and booked through a commission-based intermediary. Every booking made through a portal instead of your own website costs you money and deprives you of direct contact with your guest.
On top of that, there's the second source of frustration
17 tools that don’t communicate with each other. An agency that’s unreachable once the site goes live. A system where you can’t enter any data yourself without calling someone. Digital transformation that feels like an extra full-time job that no one ever advertised.
That's exactly where we come in. We want you to have more flexibility after a project than you did before: more direct bookings, fewer dependencies, clear figures, and points of contact who know your business.
When hoteliers work with us, we want them to feel one thing above all else: relief. The feeling that there’s someone on their side who understands the industry and doesn’t keep track of the time every time they have a question.
Our Values
How We Work
In September 2026, the entire XPORT team spent two days asking themselves one question: What really matters to us? The result was six values. These aren’t just slogans for posters, but principles against which we want to measure ourselves in our day-to-day work.
Reliability
For us, commitments are not just declarations of intent.
Deadlines, budgets, quotes: What we tell you is what you get. And if something can’t be met, we’ll let you know before you even have to ask. Early, openly, and with a suggestion on how to make it work anyway. Our advice is independent: We’ll recommend the system that’s right for your home, not the one that gives us the best profit margin. Conversely, a project can only succeed if we work together. At the kick-off meeting, we’ll be honest with you about what we need from you to make it happen.
Mindfulness
We listen before we make an offer.
Not every hotel needs everything—and certainly not all at once. We look at your capabilities, not just our list of services, and suggest what will truly help you move forward. This applies internally as well: Only well-rested, healthy colleagues can do good work. That’s why we offer flexible work hours, real breaks, and no projects that we push through at the expense of the team. And yes: We’ll turn down a project if we realize the chemistry isn’t right. That’s fairer for everyone.
Creativity
Pragmatic when it comes to money. Creative when it pays off.
We don’t build works of art that no one can use, nor do we create cookie-cutter websites that look just like a thousand others. We think outside the box when your website needs a unique touch, and we keep a level head when the standard solution is simply the more cost-effective one. Our work doesn’t end when the site goes live: You’ll receive a roadmap outlining the next logical steps. And because taste is subjective: If you don’t like something, we’ll talk it over. We just hope that our experience counts for something in the process.
Our Base
Deadlines, budgets, quotes: You can count on us to keep our promises. And if something can’t be delivered, we’ll let you know before you even have to ask. Early, openly, and with a suggestion on how to make it work anyway. Our advice is independent: We’ll recommend the system that’s right for your home, not the one that gives us the best profit margin. That said, a project can only succeed if we work together. At the kick-off meeting, we’ll be honest with you about what we need from you to make it happen.

Our Heart
Behind your project lie concept development, design, front-end, back-end, online marketing, and project management. Above all, you’ll notice one thing: we’re all pulling in the same direction. We see ourselves as the digital extension of your team—working as equals, with shared responsibility for the outcome. Internally, team spirit means this: we help each other, we celebrate each other’s successes, and we view diversity as an asset, not a problem.
Team spirit
You'll have a team at your disposal, not just one point of contact.
A relaunch is stressful enough. A little lightheartedness doesn’t make it any less professional—it just makes it more bearable. We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. If you feel the same way, you’ll feel right at home with us. And if the mood ever takes a turn for the worse, we’ll address it head-on instead of just letting it ride out.
Humor
We don't go down to the basement just to laugh.
What Holds It All Together
A proposal that’s easy to understand without needing to ask for clarification. Prices that come as no surprise afterward. Reports that make the numbers easy to understand and draw insights from them. Processes that remain transparent, even when things get hectic on a project. And mistakes that we call out, rather than sugarcoating them. Short decision-making chains ensure that clarity comes quickly with us.
Clarity
You should always know where you stand.

Our No-Gos
What You Won't Find Here
A stance becomes clearer when you also say what you don't do.
- No sales pressure, no anonymous call center. We don’t have sales teams calling you who just read your hotel’s name off a piece of paper. You’ll speak with people who are familiar with your project.
- Not just another run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter website. A website that looks great but doesn’t generate bookings isn’t a success in our eyes.
- No lock-in. Your data, your content, and your profit margin belong to you. We build our platform so that you can move forward even without us. You should stay because things are going well, not because you can’t leave.
- No hidden costs, no jargon. If there’s a word in our quote you don’t understand, that’s our fault, not yours.
- No discrimination. Not on our team, and not on the channels we manage for you.
Our Position
What We Stand For as a Company
The six values listed above describe how we work. These four points show who we are—even if it’s sometimes uncomfortable.
We are committed to the free and democratic basic order and to a cosmopolitan society. That is why we are a member of the association “Wirtschaft für ein weltoffenes Sachsen e. V.”
Cosmopolitan & Democratic
For us, origin, gender, religion, age, or disability do not determine anything. We do not tolerate discrimination or hate speech—neither internally nor on the channels we manage.
Equal Rights & Non-Discrimination
A 100% electric vehicle fleet, taking the train instead of flying whenever possible, green energy hosting, and one tree planted per person each month.
Sustainable & resource-efficient
Mental health is a topic we’re open to discussing. Two of our colleagues are trained as psychological first responders.
Mindful & Supportive
How can you tell?
Our Values in Practice
Values that can't be verified are just for show. So here are a few things you can use to judge us by:
- On Mondays, nobody starts with the status quo here, but with an icebreaker in the form of a funny anecdote or an amazing experience. It sounds silly, but it ensures that we get to know each other as people—not just as roles.
- Flexible work hours and remote work aren’t just a perk listed on our careers page—they’re part of our everyday routine. On top of that, we have “joker days”: days off you can take when you’re running on empty. No explanation needed, no guilt. And if you set your energy level to “low” in the team chat, you won’t get any follow-up questions—just consideration. When you manage your own resources mindfully, you’ll last longer.
- We share what we know. Instead of keeping our expertise to ourselves, we explain how your website works so you can manage it on your own.
- Digital sustainability is important to us. Lean, fast-loading pages use less energy, rank higher in search results, and keep visitors more patient. We use green energy for hosting whenever possible.
- We say “no” sometimes, too. To requests that aren’t a good fit, and to ideas we aren’t convinced about. This sometimes costs us revenue but saves everyone involved a lot of frustration.

Frequently asked questions:
Can we use government grants for our hotel marketing and consulting services?
Yes, under certain conditions. As a listed consulting firm, we’ll work with you to determine whether you’re eligible for BAFA fundingfor marketing. This way, you can secure up to €2,800(or up to 80% of consulting costs) in government grants to support your growth. We provide strategic guidance—from brand buildingto a crystal-clear online marketing strategy to impartial systems consulting —all while staying within your budget.
How can you help me get Greensign certification for my hotel?
How wonderful— sustainabilityand environmental protection are just as important to us as they are to you!
We can help you achieve GreenSign certification by communicating your sustainability efforts on your website in a transparent, visible, and credible way. To do this, we’ll prominentlyfeature the GreenSign seal(e.g., on the homepage or in the footer) and link it correctly. In addition, we can create a dedicated sustainability landing page for you, where you can explain your initiatives to guests in an easy-to-understand way and where relevant tips for eco-friendly guest behavior can be integrated—for example, during the booking process or upon arrival.
The technical implementation also contributes to your environmental footprint: Upon request, we offer green hosting powered by 100 percent renewable energy and optimize loading times through compressed images, clean code, and caching to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
In addition, we ensure compliance with social and legal standards by implementing accessibility in accordance with relevant criteria (e.g., BITV) . This is complemented by the legally compliant integration of a cookie banner.
If you're interested in obtaining Greensign certification, feel free to contact us so we can plan your project together!
What sets XPORT apart from a traditional web agency or a freelancer?
XPORT has specialized in the hospitality industry since 2001. We understand the problems and challenges your industry faces. You’ll benefit from our insights and best practices gained from over 25 years of experience in hotel marketing. Instead of dealing with a constantly changing roster of contacts and unnecessary jargon, you’ll have a dedicated partner who understands hotel marketing, websites, systems, and the unique aspects of the industry. We don’t view design, technology, and marketing as separate entities, but rather as interconnected building blocks.
Is it complicated to switch to your agency?
Generally speaking, no. We work with you to structure the transition, clarify access rights and responsibilities, and ensure that important systems and ongoing initiatives are taken into account during the transition. In doing so, we rely on designated points of contact and strive for solutions that are as open and independent as possible.
What's your stance on gender-neutral language?
In short: with a sense of proportion. It’s important to us that everyone feels included here. That’s why we use gender-inclusive language when referring to specific people—on our team page, for example, with a colon. Elsewhere, we use neutral terms like “team” or “editorial staff” because they simply read better and also work well with screen readers. And if only one form is used somewhere, rest assured: we always mean everyone.
You talk a lot about values. As a customer, how can I tell that this isn't just marketing?
Ask us for references, talk to our current clients, or simply book a free 15-minute initial consultation. You’ll usually know right away if we’re a good fit. And if we’re not, we’ll let you know.
You say that mindfulness is one of your core values. How does that affect my project?
We don't suggest everything all at once; instead, we assess what your company really needs right now and what your team is capable of. And if we realize that a certain step in the project would be too much to handle all at once, we'd rather tell you that than just push through with it.
Team spirit sounds great, but how does collaboration actually work in everyday life?
You’ll have a dedicated point person in project management, backed by a team that works closely together across concept development, design, development, and online marketing. Short decision-making chains ensure that decisions are made quickly and that you aren’t passed back and forth between departments.
Humor as a corporate value is unusual. Are you serious?
Absolutely. A relaunch is stressful enough as it is, so working together should be fun sometimes. For us, humor doesn't mean taking things lightly—it means treating each other with openness and humanity, even when things get tough.
