Who We Are and What Drives Us

We are XPORT—an owner-managed team of about 20 specialists in digital hotel marketing. Since 2001, we’ve been passionate about the hospitality industry and combine online marketing, websites, consulting, and our own digital solutions, such as hellolobby. With us, you can expect short decision-making paths, open communication, and plenty of room to contribute your ideas.

FAQs About Careers at XPORT

  • Do I have to have a background in the hospitality industry to apply with you?

    No. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, but not a requirement for every position. What matters most are your professional skills, your motivation, and your willingness to learn the ins and outs of the industry. We’ll teach you the necessary hotel knowledge as a team.

  • How does the collaboration work if you're not located right in my city?

    For us, working together in person doesn’t depend on physical proximity. In our day-to-day work, we coordinate easily online—with clients as well as within our team. And when an in-person meeting makes sense, we get together on-site for workshops, kick-offs, or joint meetings. This keeps the lines of communication short while still allowing for face-to-face interaction.

  • Do I need a traditional cover letter?

    No! We want to get to know you as a person—not just read a bunch of standard, cookie-cutter phrases. Just send us your current resume (feel free to be unconventional) along with a brief overview of your career history and what motivates you.

  • How soon will I receive feedback on my application?

    We hate long wait times just as much as you do. You'll usually receive a personal response from us within 3 to 5 business days. If it works for you, we'll invite you right away to a casual introductory meeting via Microsoft Teams.

  • Can I submit a speculative application?

    Yes, definitely! If you think your skills would be a great fit for our team, but your dream job isn't currently listed, just reach out to us. We're always open to smart people with a passion for the hotel industry.

  • Can I start working entirely remotely, and how does the remote onboarding process work?

    Yes, you can work remotely from home starting on day one. Our onboarding process is fully digital and designed to guide you smoothly and systematically through your new responsibilities. You’ll be paired with a permanent team member as your mentor and will be trained step by step via video calls and with the help of our internal documentation.
