Who doesn't ask - and so ;)
Hotel software primarily refers to the reservation system (PMS for short), which is used to manage and bill reservations. However, if you look at the term hotel software as a whole, it goes beyond the PMS. The PMS forms the heart of the digital system landscape and can be expanded to include additional systems for revenue, online marketing, guest relations and much more.
The largest and best-known providers of hotel software (PMS) include Protel, MEWS, Apaleo, Opera and Fidelio. As each system offers its own special features and you are optimally positioned for the future, it is all the more important to test and compare the various providers in advance.
Our experience shows that the inventory alone, including evaluation and consultation, can take 4 to 6 weeks. The subsequent target determination including research and coordination with suitable providers, preparation of offers, presentation, consultation, selection and briefing takes another 2 to 3 months.
From the selection of suitable providers onwards, it varies greatly. Depending on how big the upheaval in the system landscape is: 0.5 to 1.5 years. But as the saying goes: what lasts a long time finally becomes awesome ;)
