What is newsletter marketing actually?

Newsletter marketing is part of online marketing. E-mails are sent out regularly or irregularly with offers, information and news. The recipients have previously subscribed to a newsletter mailing list, so they are expressly interested in these newsletters.

Click-through rate, open rate, effective click-through rate - what are these terms?

The open rate indicates the ratio between the number of actual recipients of the newsletter and the number of openings.

The click rate is about how many recipients have clicked on links, buttons etc. in the newsletter in relation to the number of emails sent.

The effective click-through rate in turn describes the relationship between the number of openings and the number of clicks.

What are pre-stay emails?

Guests receive pre-stay emails before their arrival with useful information about their arrival and stay. It is also possible to simply welcome them. This allows you to build trust before they have even entered your hotel. They are also the perfect opportunity for upselling.

There is no such thing as THE perfect mailing frequency. However, experience has shown that anything from 1 to 2 times a month is better received by recipients than every 3 days.
