Our office is located in the Parkhotel in Dresden's Weißer Hirsch district, which opened in 1914, and occupies two floors. We gave one of the office spaces the original purpose of a former hotel room.
Franz Kafka, Zarah Leander, Thomas Mann, Richard Strauss, Kurt Tucholski, Heinz Rühmann, Theo Lingen and many others: The guests who once stayed at the hotel where we are now developing digital marketing for the hotel industry with growing success are famous. Stars sank into their pillows here after spa treatments in the neighboring Lahmann Sanatorium or dancing the night away in the Parkhotel ballroom.
OFFICE WITH HOTEL ROOM
While Zarah Leander woke up with a hangover after one of these nights and mumbled "It won't end the world", today we can retreat for a beauty sleep or inspiring breaks. We have converted one of the offices into a hotel room with an almost authentic look of the old Parkhotel.
"We love beautiful hotels and work with great passion for their success. So it made sense to fulfill our dream of having our own 'mini hotel'," says agency founder Alexander Creutzburg.
The "dream" is located in a quiet corner of the agency, measures 18 square meters, is furnished in a British-inspired style and offers everything that a hotel double room with upscale comfort needs. Regardless of whether employees want to take a break or spend some creative time together - the "hotel" in their own office offers the right ambience.
UNIQUE INTERIORS
Old parquet flooring, dark colors, fine fabrics and handmade furniture create a cozy and elegant atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling casement windows provide light and air in the room, which was furnished by Dresden interior designer Bisch-Chandaroff-Werkstätten. He explains the furnishing concept: "We love working for hotels. In this case, it was important for us to take the historic building into account and translate it into a contemporary design. The bed and seating furniture are made in-house and the textiles used are all from European production."
COMMITMENT TO THE HOTEL INDUSTRY
By furnishing the hotel room, Alexander Creutzburg and the XPORT team want to show their commitment to the hotel industry, which has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. "Good hotels will continue to be needed and successful in the future. Creative concepts and innovative, digital marketing are the keys that we have on our key ring!" promises Alex.
And when times get tough, she can now retreat to the new hotel room with Zarah Leander. Because she "knows that one day a miracle will happen!"
